Get Kids Outside.
Protect What We Love.
We’re a non-profit sportsmen’s club dedicated to youth outdoor education and hands-on conservation in Wahpeton, ND, Breckenridge, MN, and surrounding areas.
What we’re about
A welcoming club with a big mission
We help young people build outdoor skills safely—and we show up for the land and water that make those experiences possible.
Youth-first programs
Hunting safety, fishing clinics, archery, and outdoor skills—taught with patience and care.
Conservation in action
Habitat projects, cleanups, and stewardship days that improve local outdoor spaces.
Community you can count on
A friendly group of members and volunteers who mentor, teach, and lend a hand.
Local impact
Focused on the Red River area—supporting families and wildlife close to home.
Monthly Meetings
We meet monthly on the third Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Wahpeton Community Center. Occasionally, meetings are held at other locations such as Kidder Recreation Area, Mooreton Pond, and Head of the Red Gun Club.
Meeting topics generally include reports on upcoming club events, community events, proposals for new projects, our scholarships and grants, and other issues as they arise. We also discuss issues and activities related to the ND Wildlife Federation, ND Game & Fish, and MN DNR.
Junior Wildlife Club
A FREE youth-orientated organization geared towards introducing kids to wildlife and habitat conservation through a variety of hands-on activities.
Get involved
