President Report
Review draft of the proposed investment addition to the RRASC bylaws
- Greg G drafted an amendment to the bylaws – the investment itself has not been approved prior to this meeting – RRASC President (Greg G), Vice President (Brad), and Treasurer (Greg B) will have management authority of the account – basis tonight’s motion, proceeding w/investment of $10,000
- Discussed amendment – minor verbiage corrections but nothing changed overall – MSC Cindie, Wayne to approve the amendment to the bylaws – a copy of this amendment will be given to Thrivent
RRASC to host NDGF Advisory Meeting, Wed Apr 20 at Hughes Shelter
- NDGF to arrive around 6PM, meeting starting at 7PM
- NDGF District Advisor, Doug Madsen, 701-238-3087
- Counties included: Cass, Ransom, Richland, Sargent, Steele, Traill
- RRASC will provide lunch for NDGF members and guests; working with Tom and Kathy to setup lunch
Treasurer Report
- Checking account at $65,150.70 as of this meeting
- Quickbooks: online version; up to 3 people (TBD) can access – $25/month for the first year then goes to $50/month – could get 10% off if paid for a full year at a time – there are many features we could utilize – Greg B has some follow-ups he is working on

Jr Wildlife Club Committee
- March: Bird House Construction @ Comstock Construction – moving back one week to March 24
- April: bird watching April 25 at Prairie Wetlands
- Need to get additional people lined up to drive youth to certain events; certification is needed
Scholarships
- One has been received and was approved by the committee – MSC Wayne, Greg B to approve the scholarship
Public Relations
- Website – Make sure to send in your photos to include on the club’s Flickr page
- Cindie tries to watch for members or family members that pass away for sympathy cards; if you see any please let her know
- Facebook/Instagram – as you see posts, please share them!
- Working to keep MN DNR and ND G&F updates shared by our page
Red River Projects
- NDGF/golf course fishing pier grant
- Pier work needed due to erosion
Neil Heitkamp Ice Fishing Derby – February 19, 2022
- 75 fish turned in – more were caught and immediately released and not scored
- Looking at getting 50 white pines to plant as wind breaks – also looking at stocking the pond
- Jerry will follow up on a night to work on the fishing poles
Vince Herding Youth Fishing Derby – May 7, 2022
Dick Bell Catfish Derby – June 4, 2022
- NDGF sanction: Wayne gave Justin the form for ND G&F
- Justin working with a contact to get our tournament added to advertising posters
- Looking into additional resources for donations – also working on a plan to expand prizes

- Cindie is looking at the 3rd Monday of June, July and August – volunteers needed!

- Received a request from the Northern Lights Council for support for camps, etc – MSC Greg B, Curt to donate $250 again this year and requesting funds to be directed to shooting sports
