President
- Discussed the summer fishing derbies that need a new chairperson – Brunks Carp & Suck (2024 & 2025) and the Dick Bell Catfish (2025). Anyone interested should contact Greg Gerou.
- Chuck Haus is looking to put up wood duck houses – he would purchase the materials and/or complete them.
Treasurer
- Checking balances are $71,441 and $6,000 in cash.
- Motion to donate $400 for Walley Rearing in MN DNR pond
- MSC (Brad G, Leroy) to approve.
General Committee Reports
Jr. Wildlife Club
- Basics of Fishing tonight. Had 9 kids participate at Kidder Dam.
- July 18 will be Fishing & Fish Cleaning Demonstrations at Kidder Dam. Club volunteers to help with the fishing would be greatly appreciated.
Sportsmen’s Smoker
- Saturday, October 19 – doors will open at 4pm this year. Hoping the early start won’t make it seem as long

- Need a new chairperson for this summer’s Brunks Carp & Sucker derby in August.

- Fish contest submission – Charlie Smith 14.5” crappie on Horseshoe Lake.
- Greg G purchased 96 blank t-shirts from Grippers for the club to put our graphics on for giveaways.
