President Report
- Zoo 2021 Fundraiser, TOGO meals and raffle; does RRASC want to sponsor a prize in addition to the smoker raffle money?
- Zoo is not doing a Wild Game Night; they are doing to-go meals and an online raffle instead; additional funding to support the raffle, on top of what we give from our smoker profits. MSC Curt and Brad to give $300.
- Status of club’s insurance: Through Heritage Insurance office in Grand Forks; Both Liability and BOD coverage has been renewed for 2022; Have contact Beyer Insurance to plan for 2023. Greg G will follow up in August 2022 to get more information from Beyer.
- Club project records. ALL club projects need to have written records such as: The material & equipment needed. Supplies from WCC or SSS. The number of people needed to run the project. The partners & suppliers contacted for the project
- Information: Updated schedule for the Dakota Territory Gun Collectors Shows. April 30 and May 1 at Wahpeton Event Center; Bill Brown is chairperson

Hunters Smoker – Oct 23, 2021 @ Wahpeton Community Center
- Friday October 22 for setup and Saturday October 23 for preparation and the actual Event
- St. John’s Church Mehock Center kitchen for Friday October 22 for food preparation.
- Commercial slicer from Manock Meats is in southside storage
- Moose meat from Korey Skovholt is in WCC freezer
- Chuck Haus said that potatoes can be picked any time – will need 3-4 people to help; 45 minutes of time needed to pick potatoes; Greg G and a few others will plan a time to go
- Contacts have been made; tickets available for purchase and posters are out
- Help needed Fri and Sat nights
- 60 lbs of cubed meat still needed for stew; 80 lbs of ground meat already on hand
- Greg G has radio time every other Monday and will talk about the smoker
- Volunteers are lined up; Greg G and Kevin have plans to get kitchen stuff setup and ready Fri afternoon; Sat AM kitchen helpers to get stew/food started; last minute ticket requests are to go through Rich and Becci

Recruitment
- Membership drive – we currently have less than 100 paid members
- Please consider bringing guests or potential new members to the September meeting this fall!
- Looking for opportunities to engage 16-18 year olds (Jr Wildlife is through age 15); please share any ideas with one of the committee members
- Should the RRASC have a presence at the Night of Indulgence on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021, 4:30-7:30 PM at the WEC? May be an opportunity for recruit new members. If we attend, we need some “swag” to hand out along with brochures and sign-up sheets; maybe be a sign up for a raffle item.

Christmas Party: WCC dining room has been reserved for Friday, Dec. 10 if we want to have a RRASC Christmas holiday gathering/party this year (of course that will depend on the county’s covid numbers if people can gather or not). If we would like to proceed, Cindie is willing to coordinate
