- Insurance policy has been renewed for the next year
- Sportsmen Against Hunger/Neil Hendrickson of Golden Valley, MN donated deer meat for the smoker.
- Other donated deer are coming in and we will pay for the processing.

General Committee Reports
Jr. Wildlife Club
- September 19 Intro to Deer Hunting – 8 kids. Learned gun safety and types of equipment
- October 17 is Indoor Archery
Scholarship
- Received one application. Committee will review and bring forth to next meeting.
Public Relations
- Becci made arrangement for the RRASC to have a table at the NDSCS Block party on August 25
- Becci Truesdell, Greg Gerou & Denise Herding were at the event
- We got a lot of questions about the local shooting ranges and archery club
- If we attend in 2025, we should have some information to hand out Head of the Red, Mooreton Sportsman’s Club and 3 Rivers Archers
- Discussed items that would be good to have at our events and when going out into the community. Good canopy (possibly one with branding on the roof), Nice fitted tablecloth with our logo, banners do not always stay in place, sail flag with our name on it for events, Pop-up banners with information about the club and junior wildlife
- Upcoming Community Events
- NDSCS Homecoming Parade – October 5
- Zoo Boo – October 26
Sportsmen’s Smoker – Saturday, October 19 doors will open at 4 p.m. this year.
- Need volunteers!!! Hoping to have enough people to have shifts on the games.
- Continue to sell tickets and collect donations. Donations are due October 1 and tickets October 17.
- Will start setting up Friday, October 18.
- Food: good on deer and potatoes / need carrots, onions and peppers
Seasonal Committee Reports
- MN Youth Goose Hunt (Cindie) – September 7-8
- Total of 5 kids over the two separate hunts.
- Marv Manock Youth Waterfowl Hunt (Kevin) – September 14
- 6 kids shot 18 birds. Water was high so there was limited spots.
- Youth Pheasant Hunt (Mark) – October 5
- Currently 8 signed up. Richland Renegade Toms will have gifts for the kids.
- Ladies Rooster Roundup (Abby) – October 18-19
- Hunt is full with 10 participants. They will be attending the smoker that night. Purchased nice sweatshirts for each hunter.
- Becci is providing a bag, water bottle and t-shirt to each of the youth hunters at each event.
- Discussed that we need to have a flyer sent to all the schools (including area SE schools) next year with all our Jr Wildlife activities and the fall hunts.

- Richland County Pheasants Youth Hunt – October 12

Good of the Order
- Thank you from a parent of a participant at the goose hunt
- Club Building – Rich knows someone who has a shop that will be opening up for rent. It could be a good option for holding shooting activities and storage. Currently $2,000/mo. plus electric and heat. It has a bathroom.
